July 9, 2014 Category: People, UncategorizedOpenAccessPHL is a collaborative group that convenes once a month to discuss technology developments and internet-based tools so that Philadelphians can organize and network with other engaged citizens. They focus on a few key areas: open data, community participation, access and inclusion, and civic tech growth. This month’s meetup, held on July 11, will feature the following speakers:
- Zack Seward – Editor-in-Chief of Technically Philly
- Jen A. Miller – Freelance Journalist & Author
- Dean Miller – Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital & Technologies (PACT) President & CEO, Investor
- Danielle Cohn – VP Marketing & Communications at Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau
The event is hosted by Jeff Friedman, Paul Wright, Yuriy Porytko and Sarah Johnson. OpenAccessPHL convenes the first Friday of each month at 4 p.m.–this month’s meet-up is on July 11 because of the fourth of July holiday.
