Tell the City of Philadelphia how you ~really~ feel about housing and neighborhood issues

Philadelphia Housing Authority. August 25, 2016 Category: MethodShort
If you think City Hall can do a better job of creating opportunities in your neighborhood, here’s you chance to have your voice heard.

Philadelphia Housing Authority and the city’s Division of Housing and Community Development want to know which issues are affecting you and your neighborhood most.

It’s a federal assessment mandated by HUD called Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH), a process that prompts the city to analyze both its affordable housing stock and the factors that affect housing most, such as education, employment and transportation.

“We want to see whether decisions made by the public sector are giving Philadelphians the best opportunity to improve their lives, or whether those decisions are making it harder,” reads the city’s AFFH site.

The aim here is to figure out how government is creating access to opportunity — or how it’s lacking. Take the survey below.
