Christopher Wink ( @christopherwink / Send an email ) Christopher Wink is the cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of Technically Media, which publishes Generocity.org and local tech news and events network Technical.ly. In that capacity, he is a lead organizer of Philly Tech Week and Baltimore Innovation Week, among other events that bring smart people together. Previously, he worked for a homeless advocacy nonprofit and was a freelance reporter. Sabrina Vourvoulias ( @followthelede / Send an email ) Sabrina Vourvoulias was the editor of Generocity.org from February 2019 until November 2021. Valerie Johnson ( @ / Send an email ) Valerie Johnson, MBA, CFRE, joined Pathways to Housing PA as director of institutional advancement in 2018. She co-hosts a podcast, Beyond Philanthropy, alongside Monique Curry-Mims. Valerie also worked as a fundraiser for Council for Relationships, Valley Youth House, and the American Association for Cancer Research. Valerie serves on the Association of Fundraising Professionals board of directors as vice president of education and professional development and has been a featured speaker for PANO, NTEN, the Lancaster County Community Foundation, AFP GPC, and AFP Brandywine. While working for diverse institutions in many roles, Tivoni has often found himself developing earned revenue models and designing strategic partnerships. Tivoni currently works as the Manager of Partnerships and Outreach at the Urban Affairs Coalition, where he helps social entrepreneurs leverage fiscal sponsorship to jumpstart their nonprofit endeavors. Tauhid Chappell ( @ / Send an email ) An eight-year veteran of the media industry, and a resume that includes stints at the Washington Post and Philadelphia Inquirer, Tauhid is also an executive board member and parliamentarian of the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists,oldest association of Black journalists in the country (the chapter responsible for founding the National Association of Black Journalists.) Through PABJ, he launched two cannabis conferences, the Color of Cannabis and the CannAtlantic Conference, both which focused on media, equity and policy in the cannabis space. Tauhid is now a Project Manager for the media policy organization Free Press. He works directly with Philly community organizations and journalists to center community perspectives, expertise and solutions on policing and the criminal legal system, and away from oppressive institutions like police departments.

Sabrina Emms ( @ / Send an email ) Sabrina Emms is a science journalist, living in Fishtown. She got her start as an intern at WHYY’s The Pulse. Before that she worked as a researcher, looking at the way bones are formed. When out of the lab and away from her computer, she's moonlighted as a pig vet's assistant and a bagel baker. His research focuses on family inequalities, focusing on parental leave, father involvement, and workplace flexibility as policies and practices that can reduce gender inequality and improve family well-being. He is a member of the International Network on Leave Policies & Research and Co-Editor of the journal Community, Work & Family. Prior to joining Technically, she worked in public relations, customer service, video production, and media. Her most recent position was as an Order Management Specialist for Comcast Business and Retention Specialist for Comcast Cable. Over the span of her five years in that position, she further strengthened her professional skills. She is an alum of Rider University, and is originally from New Jersey but resides in Philadelphia. When not working Na’Tosha does stand up and sketch comedy in different cities. She also enjoys watching and creating indie films. 
Michael Butler ( @ / Send an email ) Michael Butler is a reporter for Technical.ly Philly and a Report For America fellow for 2020-2021. He graduated from Temple University in 2016. He grew up in Augusta, Georgia, as part of a military family and moved around several times over the course of his life. As a freelance journalist, he has contributed to platforms like National Public Radio affiliate WHYY and reported on culture and the arts for publications like Okayplayer and Remezcla. In 2019, he was one of the recipients of the Lenfest Institute for Journalism’s inaugural Next Generation Award grant. Later that year, he was selected by the Maynard Institute for Journalism to be a Maynard 200 fellow. 
Melissa Skolnick ( @ / Send an email ) Melissa Beatriz Skolnick is a writer and documentary filmmaker who believes in the power of cultural organizing. Since 2010, she has been working with nonprofits and arts organizations throughout Philadelphia, while using a range of tools for community building and storytelling. Melissa is currently pursuing her Ph.D in social welfare at the University of Pennsylvania, from which she also holds a Master of Social Work degree.

Jim Irby ( @ / Send an email ) Jim Irby is the social enterprise manager of One Step Away, Philadelphia's street newspaper, which provides a voice and opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness, joblessness or poverty. He is a graduate of William and Mary and earned his M.A. in environment and community from Antioch University Seattle's Center for Creative Change. As a writer, he enjoys covering issues related to economic, racial, ecological, gender and food justice. In his activism, he works both as a trainer for organizations such as Philly Thrive and a perpetual student around issues of systemic change and social justice.

He was born and raised in North Philadelphia and graduated from Eastern University with a journalism degree and a minor in communications. He has previous experience reporting as an editorial intern at Philadelphia magazine and held the position of sports editor for The Waltonian college newspaper. Hector deeply enjoys hands-on experiences, whether it's volunteering for the community or crafting a new project. It’s easy for him to find a good book to read, and a strength (or weakness) he has is an obsession for information. His dream is to travel the world and one day to report internationally.

Hanae Mason ( @ / Send an email ) A Montgomery, AL native, Hanae Victoria Mason earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from Hampton University and an MPA at the University of Pennsylvania. After working in different capacities in the communications field, she was drawn to a new professional path: community advocacy and development. As the Community Programs Manager for Mt. Airy CDC, Hanae spearheaded the organization’s public life and placemaking initiatives, the most notable being the launch and activation of Lovett Park. Her public space advocacy work has been nationally recognized, and she was named an “Emerging Cities Champion” by the Knight Foundation and 8 80 Cities in 2018. Hanae is currently a self-employed writer, consultant, creative, and activist based in West Philadelphia.

Ami Patel Hopkins ( @ / Send an email ) Ami Patel Hopkins (Mrs. PH) is currently teaching 7th grade math and science for the School District of Philadelphia (SDP). Prior to this, she was the Kindergarten Transition Fellow for SDP. In this role, she worked closely with the early learning team as well as a variety of partner agencies to investigate and create solutions to the infrastructure and operational challenges that hinder successful kindergarten transition. Mrs. PH is also the Founder of Asha Advisors, LLC. Hopkins was also the VP of Teaching, Learning and Innovation at the Philadelphia Education Fund. She spearheaded the Ed Fund’s efforts to ensure excellent teachers in every classroom, driving to enhance the preparation, support, and networking of teachers across the city. Mrs. PH also served as Deputy Education Officer to former Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter in the Mayor’s Office of Education. She has worked on education reform issues at the national level through the Alliance for Excellent Education, served as an AmeriCorps member in Maryland, has done college access work in a Baltimore high school, and taught first grade in inner-city Miami. Mrs. PH is also an adjunct professor at Drexel University. She is also the Board Chair of YESPhilly. She lives in Northwest Philadelphia with her husband and son and they are involved with local efforts with the neighborhood public schools. She earned her master’s degree in public policy with a concentration in education policy from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
