  • Effectively Manage and Support all aspects of the sales cycle for WURD Radio, LLC.  Manage the sales pipeline and drive revenue through consultative media and solution-based sales via the WURD multi-media platforms (spot, non-spot and digital)
  • Manage Station Sales department to identify, develop, foster, maximize and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing local and national clients to achieve and exceed sales, profitability goals and customer satisfaction
  • Drive results by recruiting, coaching, training and managing sales team performance, setting clear expectations, and holding team accountable against business metrics to develop account strategies for long term revenue growth
  • Prepare departmental budgets as requested
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
  • Control and manage departmental expenses
  • Manage deployment and implementation of CRM software across sales department
  • Work collaboratively with the programming team to develop and identify short and long term strategies and innovation to drive and achieve multimedia sales goals
  • Establish and attend meetings with key accounts, target accounts, corporate and agency accounts (local and national) in conjunction with sales team
  • Evaluate market analysis, selling cycles and advertising prices to meet sales and financial objectives
  • Manage inventory and rates through coordination with the Traffic Manager
  • Assist in collection of Accounts Receivables and Billing procedures
  • Develop innovative sales commission and incentive plans that drive desired sales culture, growth and results among sales staff
  • Develop and recommend systems to ensure that all Sales and related Agreements are signed and compliant with company policies and procedures
  • Work with Programming and Marketing departments to ensure the best potential for sales opportunities
  • Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate and influence revenue growth

Minimum Five (5) years media sales experience;

Team management experience, background in strategic account management, sales training/leadership;

CRM experience (salesforce);

Virtual Traffic software experience
