Young Audiences seeks a creative and results-oriented marketing professional to advance YA’s work and to build business. The Marketing Manager is an exciting growth opportunity for a marketing professional who will develop and execute marketing strategies to advance YA’s recovery from the pandemic. Due to the staff size and capacity, the Marketing Manager toggles between developing and envisioning strategy, and hands-on implementation. The successful candidate is an excellent communicator and team player, can operate independently when needed, and is also energized by productive collaboration.
The Marketing Manager will be able to review and synthesize results from email campaigns, sales results, google analytics and social media analytics and will adjust strategies and resources accordingly. The Marketing Manager reports to the President & CEO and works collaboratively with Programming, Artist Services and Social Media personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Sales-Focused Marketing: (70%)
Plan and execute digital and print marketing strategies to support sales goals, addressing key stakeholder groups with distinct messaging to suit their needs.

Direct public relations strategy, press relations, news releases, targeted pitches, and special events to promote awareness of YA.

Budget Management: Manage marketing budget, maximizing impact of YA’s marketing resources
Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through all mediums, including writing marketing copy, press releases, and social media content.

Fluency with Technology: Demonstrated ability to work fluidly with technology including MS Office Suite, WordPress, Constant Contact, Google Docs, Zoom, and Canva. Familiarity with photo and video editing preferred.
Organization and planning: Attention to detail, time management, strong organization skills, and a commitment to complete tasks in accordance with project timelines.

YA office hours are 8:30-4:30, M-F. YA is primarily working remotely at this time, with plans to return to a hybrid work environment involving in person work in our Princeton office. The ability to travel to schools and events within our service region of New Jersey and Eastern PA is required. Mileage is reimbursed.
YA has implemented a mandatory vaccination policy for employees and safety protocols for in-person work at the YA office, schools, and event venues.
