About Community Partnership School

Community Partnership School (CPS) is an independently operating Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade school in North Philadelphia. CPS advances educational equity, in close collaboration with families and the wider community, by providing a top-notch, identity-affirming education that builds a foundation for lifelong success.

CPS was founded in 2006 through a partnership between Germantown Academy and Project H.O.M.E. to attend to the educational needs of children from an underserved North Central Philadelphia neighborhood. Today CPS attracts families from across the city, prioritizing families whose neighborhood options for high-quality schools feel limited.
