Biography
Cynthia Figueroa is the former president and CEO of the North Philly-based nonprofit Congreso de Latinos Unidos, a multi-service agency that aims “strengthen Latino communities through social, economic, education and health services, leadership development and advocacy.” She now serves as commissioner of the city’s Department of Human Services, within the Health and Human Services Cabinet.
