Thanks to funding from the William Penn Foundation, the University City District is now taking proposals for cultural programming at the Porch at 30th Street Station through its Partnership Programming Fund.
UCD is looking for projects that meet three criteria: (1) impactfully activate and animate the space; (2) attract new users to the site or meaningfully engage existing users; and (3) showcase innovative “al fresco” cultural programming. In addition, UCD will provide financial and marketing support as well as the use of the site and electricity for the projects.
Projects are currently only being accepted from regional nonprofits in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
UCD is also looking for proposals for the second round of programming to take place from April to June.
Learn more here. Proposals are due by 4pm on February 7, 2014.
