
Art on Sundays in Philadelphia just became more accessible thanks to PECO.Throughout the month, PECO will sponsor some of the area’s top art attractions to so that community members can visit them for free.
The Barnes Foundation is hosting a Free First Sunday on February 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on February 2 as well one on March 2. The theme for February 2 is “Music Education” and includes erformances by the Jone’cia LaDine Ensemble; Ace Harmony, the Lower Merion High School coed a cappella group; and more.
PECO Family Jams at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens will be held every second Sunday of the month from noon to 4:00 p.m. The next one will be held on February 9th, featuring Book of Treasures with teaching artist Jenn Pascoe, as part of The Free Library’s One Book, One Philadelphia. Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts will have free admission on Sundays through April 6. In addition, PAFA will host community art days, talks and workshops, and film programs. Check out the full schedule here.
