VIDEO: myPhillyRising App Connects You to Neighborhoods

February 11, 2014 Category: Uncategorized

The myPhillyRising community app is the City of Philadelphia’s attempt at using social networks and mobile technology to encourage community building and engagement. Users can create and join neighborhood events, communicate with neighbors and learn about community resources.

The video below, produced by the Office of Innovation and Technology’s Bruce Martin, is a new introduction to the web application. It is also a tutorial of how it works.  More myPhillyRising “how-to” videos are expected in the future.
