The Arts and Business Council of Greater Philadelphia is in the home stretch of accepting applications for their Designing Leadership series.

With programming for emerging leaders in both the for-profit and nonprofit arts and culture communities, this series will be taught  by staff and faculty from both IBM and the Wharton School. The Designing Leadership curriculum includes training in leadership, collaboration, mentoring and sustainability. Courses listed below:

March 19th: Building Awareness: Foundations in Leadership Styles

March 26th: IBM – Leadership Development: Styles, Coaching & Climate

April 2nd: IBM – Leadership & Collaboration

April 9th: The Wharton School – Organizational Leadership: Strategic Sustainability & Human Capital

April 16th: Community Leadership: Networks, Mentoring & Graduation

All five sessions will take place at the University of the Arts in Center City. With a focus on arts, culture and creative sectors, the Designing Leadership series is attempting to target areas not often addressed in the sector, such as how personal leadership styles connect and contribute to the overall well-being of an organization.

Application are due by March 3.
