FastFWD offices at Impact Hub in South Kensington.
The public-private business accelerator FastFWD is now accepting applications for its second 12-week round. In the first round, FastFWD worked with 10 different companies that addressed public safety and helped them develop their business models and refine their vision.
The focus of the second round will again be public safety, but this round will focus on community stability, housing, substance abuse, and youth and gang violence.
The initiative was launched through a partnership of the City of Philadelphia, GoodCompany Ventures and the Wharton Social Impact Initiative. It was funded by a $1 million grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies.
Participating companies will receive a $10,000 stipend. The application is available here.
