Philadelphia’s sustainability and environmentally-focused businesses and organizations are coming together on September 7 for the 9th annual Greenfest Philly, an outdoor festival featuring food, music and over 100 exhibitors and vendors.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Headhouse Square, between Lombard and South on 2nd Street.
This year’s line-up of exhibitors includes advocacy organizations — such as the event’s lead sponsor Clean Air Council — as well as retail businesses, institutions, green restaurants, local food stores and others. Find a full list here.
Each year, Greenfest Philly selects a group of “Green Innovators” to highlight at the festival. The group usually consists of organizations that have made a major impact in the sustainability sector in the last year. The 2014 innovators include:
- Bike Share Philadelphia
- Climate Tracker
- Cycle Philly
- Milkcrate Philly
- The GREEN Program
