Event: PhilaSoup Grapes and Grants

January 8, 2015 Category: FundingUncategorized

UPDATE: The event date has been updated to January 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

On Monday, January 26, PhilaSoup will host “Grapes and Grants,” an informational happy hour. PhilaSoup brings together teachers, educators and soup connoisseurs at microgrant dinners — fundraising events based around a meal — to fund small, education-focused projects.

At the event, held at 1315 Walnut St., Suite 320 (in CultureWorks Conference Room), PhilaSoup’s proposal committee will lead participants through the application process for a PhilaSoup grant.

The event will not only help teachers, educators and administrators understand PhilaSoup’s grant process (in time for its February dinner), but it will also help them understand how to approach any grant application. The PhilaSoup team will also be going over a new award we are offering through PCTC Teacher Collaborative grant.

RSVPs need to be submitted to Monique@philasoup.com by Saturday Jan 10th.

PhilaSoup is also hosting a teacher happy hour on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sidecar Bar & Grille (2201 Christian Street) in South Philly.
