#PhillyChanger Chats: Meg Wise of Smith Playground

Smith Playground serves as a resource for children by providing opportunities for unstructured creative play.

#PhillyChanger Chats is a video series aimed at making Philly leaders more accessible. We’ll be featuring leaders of nonprofits, social enterprises, local government, and community organizers who are active in the city.

Meg Wise is the Executive Director of Smith Playground, which opened to the public in 1899. Its mission is to serve as a resource for children by providing opportunities for unstructured creative play. The Playground, which is the size of six football fields, is free and open to the public for children 10 and younger and their parents.
