Mural Arts Program Launches 2015 Tour Season with Scavenger Hunt

April 6, 2015 Category: Purpose

On Saturday, April 11, the Mural Arts Program will kick off it’s 2015 tour season with first-ever Mural Arts Scavenger Hunt. The event will be held at Mural Arts’ new tours office, located at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts’ (PAFA) Hamilton Building (128 N. Broad Street).

The new Mural Arts scavenger hunt will be available using a downloadable app. Participants or teams will compete in interactive challenges that include photo-taking, GPS check-ins, and Q&As, encompassing a variety of murals along the Center City Mural Mile North and South walking tour routes.

The festivities and scavenger hunt will begin at 11 a.m. with the scavenger hunt running until 1 p.m with a following reception through 2 p.m. The scavenger hunt is free, although participants must register. To register, participants can email tours@muralarts.org with his or her name and the number of people on their team. Each team is required to have at least one mobile device or tablet to use during the event.

Throughout the season, the Mural Art’s scavenger hunt will be available for private groups of any size and can be used for a corporate team-building exercise or social activity. Those interested can call 215-925-3633 ext. 14 for pricing and to sign up for the Mural Arts scavenger hunt.
