Forman Family Fund will provide grants to in and out of school arts programs

July 16, 2015 Category: Funding

The Nessa Forman, David Forman, Eleanor and Solomon Forman Family Fund, a designated fund of The Philadelphia Foundation, will support Southeastern Pennsylvania nonprofits serving young people aged 11 to 18 offering in-school or out-of-school-time programs that address one of the following areas — photography, architectural drawing and architecture, and written arts.

Grant applicants must have a curriculum-based program at least one semester in length (with preference for year-long programs) and the program must have been operating for at least two years with a proven track record.

The Fund will make up to 10 grants of no more than $40,000 each annually. Letters of Intent are due by July 20. Successful LOI candidates will be invited by August 7, 2015 to submit a full proposal that will be due by Sept. 4, 2015, and a grant determination will be made by Sept. 30, 2015.

More information about the grant and how to submit an LOI is available on The Philadelphia Foundation’s website.
