Measuring success is tricky. These leaders will explain how to do it

How do you take the warm, fuzzy world of impact and measure it?
Measuring the good that we do is an ever-evolving conversation. Enter this month’s Impact Solutions meetup.
RSVP HEREAt last month’s meetup, we heard from three people who are building community through their work in the social sector. This month, we will be featuring three leaders from organizations who are measuring impact.
Come and learn what they do, why they do it, and how you can do it, too. This event is all about skipping the pleasantries of “who” and “what” we do — though there will be plenty of networking time to take care of that, too — and allowing speakers to share best practices and experiences that we can all learn from.
For-profit, nonprofit — all are encouraged to join us at Benjamin’s Desk on Wednesday, Jan. 13, to listen and discuss how we measure impact.
- Josh Glickenhaus will share Aeris Insight’s plan to standardize a set of meaningful metrics to better inform impact fund investors and stakeholders.
- Morgan Findley of the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance will talk about how Portfolio, an analysis of the arts and culture sector, came to be and how it has expanded cover to a national level.
- Kevin Moran will share how Fairmount CDC is working on an analysis of how commercial corridor development relates to census data, which they hope other CDCs will replicate.
We’ll have a Q&A with each of the presenters and networking time with presenters and other impact leaders— plus, free beer! Kick off your new year with tangible, applicable lessons you can take back to your organization.
