Around the Corner” is a PhillyCAM show that offers local social impact leaders the opportunity to share what impact their work is having on the Philadelphia area.

It’s Knight Cities Challenge time again!

The annual Knight Foundation grant competition is “an opportunity to identify those civic innovators and really give them a platform for their new ideas,” says Philadelphia’s program director, Patrick Morgan, in his “Around the Corner” interview with Generocity Community Manager Mo Manklang.

The challenge has produced scores of cool projects in the past two years, including Mt. Airy’s Immigrant Innovation Hub in 2015 and Tayyib Smith’s Institute of Hip-Hop Entrepreneurshipwhich has gotten national attention — in 2016.

Want to apply? Apps are open from Oct. 10 through Nov. 3, and info sessions are happening through October.
