Social enterprise Treatmint Box got a deal on Project Runway: Fashion Startup

Treatmint Box founder Kimberly Fink. December 28, 2016 Category: FeaturedFundingShort
In early 2016, Generocity reported that East Falls-based social enterprise Treatmint Box would appear on a new “Shark Tank-style” reality show to be filmed in March.

It happened, and we missed it. But here’s what you need to know:

Kimberly Fink, who founded the subscription care package product for cancer patients, appeared on Lifetime‘s new venture capital show Project Runway: Fashion Startup and got her company a deal.

Her chief product officer and second-in-command, Ty Burrowbridge, founder of the failed social enterprise SuperMighty, also wrote about the experience on LinkedIn.

It was a high-profile year for Treatmint Box, which has been seeking partnerships with large institutions and lifestyle brands (the company teamed up with LIVESTRONG back in May).

Fink and Burrowbridge did not immediately respond to Generocity’s inquiry regarding the size and specifics of the deal. We’ll update this story when we hear back.
