Help PFCU donate $5,000 to 4 Philly nonprofits

Vote through Jan. 1, or until the campaign reaches 1,000 likes. December 13, 2017 Category: FeaturedFundingShort
‘Tis the season for distributing dollars to organizations doing the good work.

Philadelphia Federal Credit Union kicked off a Facebook giving campaign on #GivingTuesday inviting folks to vote on how it should distribute $5,000 by clicking the emoji corresponding with one of four nonprofits on a promo post. Each click counts as a vote and $5 donated to that organization.

Here’s how it works:

  • Click “Like” to vote for Lutheran Settlement House (LSH)
  • Click “Love” for Gaudenzia’s House of Passage
  • Click “Haha” for SpArc Services
  • Click “Wow” for Congreso

As of Wednesday morning, 475 votes had been cast totaling $2,375; LSH was in the lead with 233 votes. The vote will run through Jan. 1 or until the $5,000 is distributed via 1,000 votes.
