Public Citizens for Children and Youth is hiring a development director to lead its fundraising initiatives. The 37-year-old, multi-issue child advocacy organization that lobbied for the passage of the city’s beverage tax is also the org behind that first-of-its-kind Minecraft-themed fundraiser last year, which it’s bringing back this October.

Maternity Care Coalition needs a teacher for its Early Head Start program, which provides individualized developmental support for young children and their families, including via home visits. The social services nonprofit promoted a new CEO, Marianne Fray, from her previous position as senior VP of external affairs in June.

###

American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania is looking for a development operations coordinator and data analyst to support its director of philanthropy. The nonprofit spent last weekend’s Made in America festival interviewing musicians and celebrity attendees about criminal justice reform as part of its Campaign for Smart Justice, so appropriately, this position is returning citizen-friendly.

Fairmount Park Conservancy needs an associate director of corporate relations to oversee its corporate giving program. This position reports to the senior director of development and executive director and will specifically seek to raise funds for the nonprofit’s Neighborhood Park Stewardship, The Oval and Love Park, as well as general operating support.

###

Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse is on the lookout for an executive director to lead all operations of the Fairmount Park-based organization — also “one of the nation’s first dedicated play spaces” — including its strategic planning, fundraising and programmatic vision. Its director of seven years, Meg Wise, left this summer to become the new ED of Philadelphia Outward Bound School.
