Fairmount Park Conservancy is looking for an executive director with at least 10 years of successful leadership experience.

The nonprofit “powers investment and innovative programming to activate, restore, and maintain 10,200 acres of Philadelphia parks, including more than 200 neighborhood parks around the city, as well as historic buildings, monuments, and public art throughout the region.” The executive director will work with the board and staff to define growth for the organization, which has become a significant force in urban revitalization, sustainability, and civic engagement in the city.

Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, organizational management, resource development, financial management, board relations and development, and external relations.

Norris Square Community Alliance seeks an executive director of the Norris Square Community Alliance CDC. Serving a predominantly Latinx community within Kensington, Norris Square Community Alliance (NSCA) is “a community development corporation founded in 1983 by a group of community women who desired to take control of their neighborhood and provide a healthy and safe environment for their children. The mission of NSCA is to empower residents to become self-reliant and to unite and build the community by developing and improving the physical, economic, social, cultural and educational aspects of the neighborhood.”  The board of the organization is interested in candidates who can carry on and build upon NSCA’s legacy.

The Education Law Center has an opening for a staff attorney. The Center, a nonprofit legal advocacy organization focused on educational equity and civil rights, needs an experienced litigation attorney for a fulltime position.

The organization is looking for someone with at least six to 10 years of legal experience, with the ability to handle complex litigation/class actions, with experience doing policy work and either admitted and in good standing in the Pennsylvania Bar, or eligible for admission by reciprocity.

Pathways to Housing PA is looking for a marketing coordinator to boost brand recognition and support fundraising campaigns, marketing activities, and special events. The nonprofit agency helps people experiencing chronic homelessness through a Housing First model.

The marketing coordinator is expected to execute a comprehensive and strategic marketing plan, produce content and manage social media accounts, as well as build relationships with local news outlets and serve as point person for public relations inquiries, among other responsibilities.

The Free Library of Philadelphia has an opening for a controller. This position is responsible for daily operation of accounting/finance for The Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation and the Rosenbach. This position also manages the annual audit of the Foundation with external auditors and interfaces with other departments and the City of Philadelphia.

Philadelphia VIP is looking for a data and analytics manager to provide day-to-day technical leadership for VIP’s core information systems, data-based performance management initiatives, and information technology infrastructure.

Philadelphia VIP is the hub of pro bono in Philadelphia, and recruits, trains, and supports volunteer attorneys who provide free legal services to low-income clients. According to the organization, the candidate for this position should care about access to justice for underserved communities and value volunteerism, among other attributes.

Riverbend Environmental Education Center has two openings: for a summer day camp early childhood lead counselor to be part of o be a part of the staff of Riverbend’s Summer Exploration Day Camp which runs through Aug. 30; and a summer day camp assistant counselor, for the same. Both jobs have physical and medicals standards that the candidates will be expected to meet.
