How are you promoting health and safety?

“[The] Covenant Lives Healing Heart Agency Incorporated, is a nonprofit organization in Chester County serving all of Southeastern Pennsylvania. We provide advocacy, resources, and referrals for families bereaved by pregnancy loss. I help them navigate through mindfulness and other holistic approaches to grief and loss.”

What do our leaders and institutions need to invest in to create a sustainable infrastructure that promotes health and safety and creates thriving communities?

“Our leaders need to invest in local organizations that make a true impact, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately. Often, the people making the most significant differences don’t have time for grant writing or interviews—they are out there doing the work. Leaders should connect with these community ‘plugs’ to distribute resources effectively.”

What’s one piece of advice leaders can take into the week?

“Lead by example and be the change you want to see. Understand the impact you make, whether good or bad, and lead with integrity. Continuously reevaluate your leadership to ensure it’s creating the impact you desire. If it’s not, recalibrate your approach.”
