Alyssa Kaminski

Alyssa has lived in cities on both east and west coasts, but Philadelphia is the first to feel like home. She moved here in 2012 after receiving her BFA from University of Delaware with a concentration in photography and video. In 2019, she graduated with an MS in Nonprofit Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice. She chose to continue her education in the study of nonprofits to conceptualize methods of improving the nonprofit ecosystem and funding model. She focused her education on identifying structural issues common in organizational operations, ethical nonprofit practices, and planning for future challenges. Alyssa has worked in fundraising and digital media for the Penn Museum and Moore College of Art and Design. She is currently employed as the Associate Director of Individual Giving at the Philadelphia Film Society. In her free time, Alyssa can be found exploring Philly’s top-tier food scene, snuggling with her two cats, or stress baking sourdough.
