Dorothy Chin, Ph.D, is an Associate Research Psychologist at the Center for Culture, Trauma, and Mental Health Disparities, Jane and Terry Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, University of California, Los Angeles whose work focuses on communities of color, specifically on trauma, discrimination, health, and mental health. Her work encompasses cultural psychology and cross-cultural research. She has published articles in numerous academic journals as well as various news outlets, including PRI’s Marketplace and the Los Angeles Times.
