Dayle Steinberg

Dayle Steinberg was appointed president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) in 2001. PPSP reaches more than 80,000 people through its 10 health centers, education programs and public advocacy initiatives. Dayle began her tenure with PPSP in 1978 as a graduate intern and became a full-time staff person in 1981. She was director of surgical services from 1986–1992, during which time she designed and implemented a training program that has since trained more than 300 Ob/Gyn residents in first-trimester abortion techniques. She then served for eight years as PPSP’s senior vice president before moving to the CEO position. Dayle is responsible for the overall management of PPSP’s operations and for representing the organization to the public. Dayle serves as vice chair of the Board of Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania Advocates, an organization that engages in Planned Parenthood’s extensive electoral, organizing and lobbying efforts.
