Farrah Parkes

Farrah Parkes is the Executive Director of New Century Trust, a Philadelphia-based foundation that works to promote gender justice. Her almost 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector has spanned a range of issues including community development, HIV prevention, early childhood education, workforce development, digital literacy, and adult education, but gender equity has always been her passion. She spent six years as a Trustee of the Valentine Foundation, which supports social change for women as girls, and currently serves on the Board of Bread & Roses Community Fund.
