Gabriel Bryant

Gabriel Bryant is a Philadelphia-based leader in nurturing mental health strategies for marginalized populations and providing resources for youth and young adults. He is the Engaging Males of Color (EMOC) Coordinator for the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS), an initiative designed to promote mental health and wellness for men and boys of color. In his role, he works to increase access and awareness of behavioral health services, build health literacy and reduce the stigma associated with mental health. Additionally, Gabriel's work focuses on developing services for people who are incarcerated and cultivating brave spaces for courageous conversations regarding issues of race, equity and community safety.
