Hungry Harvest is a farm to doorstep produce delivery service on a mission to fight food waste and food insecurity. They work with farmers and wholesalers to recover produce that would otherwise go to waste for not meeting the visual specifications of retail (size, shape, color, appearance) or for farmer overstock. Since 2014, they have rescued over 25 million pounds of produce and provided 1.6 million pounds to local hunger-solving initiatives, including Mama Tee's Community Fridge and Philabundance here in Philadelphia.
