Jelani Favors

Jelani Favors is associate professor of history at Clayton State University. In In 2009 and 2013 he received funding from the Mellon Foundation and Duke University to support the publication of his first book titled Shelter in a Time of Storm: How Black Colleges Fostered Generations of Leadership and Activism (UNC Press.)
