Karissa Phelps, Esq., is a Stoneleigh Foundation Emerging Leader Fellow working with Temple Legal Aid to expand access to kinship care for child welfare-involved families and youth in Philadelphia. With a background in social work, Karissa has worked with survivors of domestic violence and provided in-home services to at-risk families.
