Stephanie Kim. July 26, 2016 Category: ColumnPeopleShort

Around the Corner” is a PhillyCAM show that offers local social impact leaders the opportunity to share what impact their work is having on the Philadelphia area.

Nowadays, it’s becoming more and more common to see businesses with a social focus in addition to a financial one.

“I’m glad to see that it’s becoming mainstream and even demanded by consumers now — especially millennial consumers — that businesses have to, at this point, do something good for the world,” said Stephanie Kim, associate director of community strategy at Wharton Social Impact Initiative.

Kim shared details about WSII’s new Urban Impact Scaling Lab, “a website dedicated to sharing knowledge from academia and industry to strengthen the American city, starting with Philadelphia,” during her Around the Corner interview with Generocity Editor Julie Zeglen.

PhillyCAM is Comcast channel 66/966HD/967 and Verizon FIOS channel 29/30 in Philadelphia.
