A local lobbyist founded this matchmaking site for advocacy groups

Are you a lonely advocate? Are you looking for hot, single advocacy organizations, but you’re too busy to spend time looking for them? If so, we’ve got some great news.

Local attorney and lobbyist Shari Shapiro has founded a politically neutral site that connects advocacy organizations to other groups with similar objectives. iVocate, Shapiro told our sister site Technical.ly Philly, is kind of like Match.com for advocacy organizations looking to ramp up local policy efforts.

Shapiro hopes iVocate will bridge divides between advocacy groups that “don’t usually see eye to eye.” The site argues that modern day partisan politics require “uniting more diverse interests for advocacy to be effective.”

iVocate is built to cut down on the time it takes for advocacy groups to connect with one another. Swipe right.
