How To: Send Your News to Generocity

February 24, 2014 Category: Uncategorized

Our job at Generocity is to keep a tab on Greater Philadelphia’s expansive (and ever growing)  social good sector.

Whether we are talking to community leaders working hard in their neighborhoods, or companies innovating how they engage in philanthropy and community outreach, the idea is to paint a full picture of what social good is and where it is going in the region.

But with so much going on, we need help to make sure we don’t miss anything. So we wanted to remind our readers to email us any tips, leads, pitches, press releases, and comments to news@generocity.org. Consider it an open channel to our content team and reporters.

To give you a better idea of what we’re looking for, here is a general list of topics we are interested in covering listed in no particular order:

  • Corporate social responsibility
  • Social enterprise, investment and entrepreneurship
  • Community development
  • Nonprofit funding and revenue models
  • Nonprofit law and policy
  • Nonprofit scaling
  • Civic engagement
  • Civic technology
  • Philanthropy
  • Grant structures
  • Marketing and social good
  • Education
  • Sustainability and greening
  • Public safety
  • Millennial engagement
  • Cross-sector collaboration
  • Skills-based volunteering
  • Community-based organizations
As always, thanks for reading and subscribing!
