State of Young Philly has been the keystone annual event of the professional networking group Young Involved Philadelphia (YIP) for the last 4 years. This year YIP is moving toward the Tech Week model by inviting organizations to become partners in the event series.
For this year’s State of Young Philly, YIP is looking for event proposals which provoke collaboration across industries and sectors regarding current issues in the area, as well as to grow opportunities for the young leaders of Philadelphia. State of Young Philly will run for eight days from November 14, 2014 – November 23, 2014.
Event proposals can fall under the categories of education, politics/policy, sustainability, economy, arts and culture, and quality of life. Proposals are due by July 31, and YIP will be in contact about the status of all submissions by August 11.
