
The West Philadelphia Skills Initiative is a collaborative workforce development program that connects West Philadelphia residents with University City’s major employers. Its Connect to Success program is a four week training program designed to prepare West Philadelphians for a career as an inpatient clerk for The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The current session launched today and will be accepting applications until tomorrow, July 2.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be:
- A resident of West Philadelphia – as defined by zip codes 19104, 19131, 19139, 19143, 19151
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be currently unemployed
- Able to demonstrate previous clerical/administrative experience in healthcare
- Motivated to achieve long-term success
