The new era of Generocity.org has begun.

There’s a lot happening over here at camp Generocity, and we are looking forward to getting deep into the thick of Philly social impact. We have been on a short hiatus from publishing as we finalized the partnership with Generocity Community Alliance— now we are jumping headfirst into convening the local community around solutions for the city.

Join us to kick things off for our first ever meetup since the change on Tuesday, Oct. 27th from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

We’ll be celebrating the two newest additions to the Generocity.org team– our new editor and our new lead reporter. Who is it? Come to the meetup and find out!

These two will be fresh to their roles and want to talk to you about what YOU want to see out of Philly’s news site exclusively covering local social impact. Welcome the new editor and reporter, pitch them ideas, and talk to our team about how we can most effectively convene and write about this community.

This meetup is the first of many more to come– you can look forward to more events and convenings of leaders who are shaping the city in their own ways. Also, keep your eye out for our big re-launch bash, which will be announced in the coming weeks!

Register on the Philly Social Impact Meetup, bring your burning thoughts on social entrepreneurship, nonprofits, and impact-giving, and we’ll see you on October 27th.
