“Around the Corner” is a PhillyCAM show that offers local social impact leaders the opportunity to share what impact their work is having on the Philadelphia area.
This June marks the 23rd annual AIDS Education Month.
To honor it, HIV health organization Philadelphia FIGHT has a ton planned with its 100-some community partners, including nine major events ranging from a prison healthcare and reentry summit to the Kiki Ball and competition.
To Chip Alfred, FIGHT’s director of development and communications, the month “is about finding strategies together to combat the virus and present the latest information about prevention, treatment, social justice, the cure — all the work that we’re doing to try to end this epidemic.”
Learn more about FIGHT’s plans below.
