The COVID-19 pandemic has only enhanced the need — and the opportunity — for tourism to become a driving force for systemic change, says guest columnist Jonathan Coleman.

The plan was introduced during a zoning meeting earlier this month, and the Women’s Opportunity Resource Center (WORC) may become one of the proposed hub's first tenants.

"If Greater Philadelphia is serious about equitable growth and becoming a national 21st-century leader, it cannot afford to continue relegating support for minority entrepreneurship to the back seat," says The Enterprise Center's Della Clark.

The annual list spotlights entrepreneurs who are “proof positive that the future will be new, exciting and profoundly different.”
