Event: OpenAccessPHL at ArcWeb in Old City

Open Access Philly September 3, 2014 Category: PeopleUncategorized

The September edition of OpenAccessPHL is right around the corner: it will be held this Friday, September 5 at 4:00 p.m. at ArcWeb, located at 234 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA.

OpenAccessPHL is a collaborative group that holds an event, usually the first Friday of the month, at various locations throughout the city to discuss technology developments and internet-based tools. The group discussion is centered around a few key areas: open data, community participation, access and inclusion, and civic tech growth, so that Philadelphians can organize as well as network with other engaged citizens.

Speakers this month include:

  • Chris Cera (Host) – Arcweb
  • Dan O’Brien, Assistant Managing Director/Central Division Coordinator for the PhillyRising Collaborative
  • Tim Wisniewski, Chief Data Officer, City of Philadelphia
  • Faith Haeussler, Philadelphia LINK
  • Laura Weidman Powers, Co-Founder, CEO, CODE2040

OpenAccessPHL is organized by Jeff Friedman, Paul Wright, Yuriy Porytko, Sarah Johnson and Stacey Mosley.

RVSP at EventBrite.
