Penn students made a website to make finding volunteer opportunities easy
December 7, 2016 Category: Purpose, ShortFinding volunteers can be difficult. That’s why Penn students built a website that helps you help them help you.
Pennvolvement, built by undergrads with some help from student-run nonprofit PennLabs, is a web platform where organizations can post volunteer opportunities. It’s a super easy way for nonprofits and the like to make their opportunities visible to willing and able Penn students.
Plus, there are nifty features like categories and cross-listing, functions that help orgs find people who are both interested in the type of work and have the time to be there.
First, the site needs more posts. As of this writing, there are only two opportunities listed.
You can read more about the new platform in the Daily Pennsylvanian.
