Nonprofit organizations have some of the best stories to tell. But many remain hidden due to more urgent to-do list items like grantwriting, finances, and fundraising.

That’s why Medium has launched their first nonprofit storytelling program. Medium is a publishing platform founded by Twitter co-founders Evan Williams and Biz Stone in 2012.

The initiative will match top-notch talent — photographers, writers, and illustrators — to organizations that have a story that needs to be shared widely. 10 winning submissions will be chosen on May 30 and included in a special collection to be shared with Medium’s readers.

Medium isn’t being strict with that 501(c)3 status either. All organizations that are making a positive impact are encouraged to apply by April 30 with their idea by emailing storytelling@medium.com.
