These 3 Philly Businesses are Best For The World, According to B Corp

‘s Best for the World List recognizes the companies who have the most positive impact across the globe. B Corporations, which are certified by the nonprofit B Lab, meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. There are now over 1,000 Certified B Corps from 33 countries and over 60 industries.

The honorees on the list are recognized if they score in the top 10 percent on the B Impact Assessment, a comprehensive assessment of a company’s impact on its workers, community, and the environment.

B Corporations in Philadelphia who’ve made the Best for the World List include:

  • Home Health Care Services(HCA), which provides quality home care across the Philadelphia metropolitan area for elders and people with disabilities
  • Message Agency, a full-service interactive studio and social enterprise based in Philadelphia that builds functional, beautiful websites for nonprofits and sustainable businesses
  • Praxis Consulting Group, which assists employee-owned, nonprofit, and other socially responsible organizations in developing high-performing, sustainable workplaces that benefit all stakeholders.
