Food Access chat with @Generocity and @SCFChildren
April 30, 2015 Category: Method, PurposeNext week, on Wednesday, May 6, Generocity and the St. Christopher’s Foundation for Children will host a Twitter Chat from noon to 1 p.m.
The twitter chat follows St. Christopher Foundation for Children’s annual #FreshRx conference held on April 29, which focused around bringing together the foremost researchers, policy change advocates, strategic thinkers and practitioners in the area of fresh food access.
We’ll open the discussion around food access to the public via Twitter, and look at some of the concepts discussed at the conference, including reducing barriers to healthy food access, bringing more healthy food into schools in Philadelphia, the effects on food policy on making healthy food choices, and promoting healthy eating behaviors in low-income communities.
