2401 Walnut Street, 8th Floor on January 8th at 5:30pm-8:30pm This night of networking and pop-up storytelling will focus on how plans for our neighborhoods become reality and is hosted by the Philadelphia City Planning Commission. They’ll also recognize the newest graduating class from the Citizens Planning Institute and hand out the Philadelphia2035 Progress Report/ 2014 Calendar.

Impact HUB Philly, 1227 N. 4th Street on January, 8th at 7pm-10pm Roughcuts, a community for visual storymakers grown out of the Philly doGooder Hackathon, is hosting their kickoff potluck which will give 4 community members the opportunity to share their current works and receive advice and recommendations from fellow community members.   no text Nonprofit Professionals Summit 2014 XFinity Live!, 1100 Pattison Ave. on January 9th at 12pm-6pm The first Nonprofit Professionals Summit, organized by Work Better Consulting, will be a half-day event for nonprofit staffers and leaders to gather, network, and attend sessions on how to engage donors and how nonprofits can establish themselves as experts in their fields. In addition, attendees will work in small groups with experts in accounting, legal and public relations fields. Generocity is the fiscal sponsor for this event.

Impact Hub, 1227 N. 4th Street on January 15th, 6pm – 8:30pm  Rashaun Williams is forming a coalition of educators, activists, socialpreneurs, and others at Impact Hub as a way to foster collaboration around strategies that improve the local Philadelphia community. One of the main focuses will be on maximizing the impact of a Global Youth Service Day project to take place in April of 2014.
