Here’s your free ticket to help City & State PA honor women in biz and politics

To mark Women’s History Month, statewide news org City & State PA will honor Pennsylvania women doing remarkable work in politics, healthcare, education, nonprofits and the like on Thursday, March 22.

The winners of its inaugural Above & Beyond Awards include Philadelphia’s first women controller, Rebecca Rhynhart; Please Touch Museum CEO Trish Wellenbach, who’s also a finalist for the new Philly school board and speaking at next month’s Women in Nonprofit Leadership ConferenceYvette Núñez, the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia’s VP of civic affairs; and Freire School Network founder Kelly Davenport. Attendees can expect cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a keynote by outgoing Visit Philly CEO Meryl Levitz and “a gathering of some of the most influential and impressive women from across the Commonwealth,” according to City & State PA Editor Greg Salisbury.
