From Philly to Rome (where this street art was photographed), don't underestimate the cultural & artistic impact of Latinx communities.

Psst! Here’s a secret: Latinxs have superpowers.
Art. Music. Literature. Dance. Food. Faith. Family. Those are our cultural superpowers, and we exercise them 24/7.
But we’re only invited to unreservedly flaunt them during one 30-day stretch of the year: the oddly interstitial (September 15 to October 15) Hispanic Heritage Month.
Here then, is a timeline with 19 events — most of them organized by Latinx organizations — that are taking place in Philly during this month of celebration. As you can see, there is a little bit of every Latinx superpower represented.
Enjoy!
